With the release of firmware 2.0 for the Playstaion 3 last week, amongst pretty much useless features (I am looking at you news ticker), PS3 owners can now custom their UI with themes. Why this was not available at launch is beyond me. The Xbox 360 has had it for years. Before fanboys get to excited the Sony’s theme system is way better than Microsoft’s, plus Sony doesn’t microrape you by making you pay for them. At least not yet.
Any who I’ve gathered a list of themes below which might interest you. Along with the specs and info for creating your own custom themes. Props to GAF users m0dus and Dot50Cal for most of the themes and info below.

To compile the sample, type the following from a command prompt:
p3tcompiler.exe sample1\sample.xml
METHODS OF INSTALL
A) Download directly from the PS3 Web Browser
B) Download on your PC and place it on a flash card or USB device under the directory /PS3/THEME/
